Never before has our society faced such dramatic change. Oil prices have skyrocketed, the housing market has plummeted, demographics have shifted, interest in going green has soared, and the digital age has influenced every facet of our lives. For the first time in the history of the United States, an African American male or a female will be elected to serve in the executive branch of the federal government.
These changes affect higher education dramatically, and as leaders within higher education, we are tasked to lead and creatively manage change. As a CAAHE leader, you are invited to participate in the 2009 Leadership Meeting, to be held in Indianapolis, June 3 –5, 2009. Plan to join us as we explore our roles as change agents and begin to answer the following questions:
